I just watched the trailer for ANNIHILATION, the feature adaptation of the first novel in Jeff VanderMeer’s “Southern Reach” trilogy … and like so many ‘alien-style’ movies, it looks great, and has amazing CGI but, and here’s the kicker, it’s just feels like the original ALIEN movie repackaged. Anyone else?
