Inktober 2024
This morning, I think I somehow signed up to do Inktober2024 after reading Darren Hester's post. He was asking if anyone over on Mastodon would be doing the yearly challenge and, yes, like I always do, I talked myself into doing a whole 31 days of scribbling, eh, I mean serious artwork.
Well, they will probably be doodles for me. For others, maybe, it will be mind blowing artwork worthy of a comic book or anima studio portfolio. But for Lil 'Ol me, who hasn't done anything serious for a few years, it's be fun to get back into a little serious doodling. I may even surprise myself or, I may not. We'll see. The thing is, is to do the challenge and, well, challenge myself to do more, to try more, to stretch myself. Or, at the very least, have fun while scribbling a doodle a day.
I mean, it's doable, right? Right? Gawd, what have I done?
Of course, there is also an alternative which I saw under the #Inktober hashtag, for insects. Now that I could get into. Maybe I'll concentrate on either doing that, or maybe, trees? Yes, trees ... or birds ... or robots ...
