The Walking Wounded

So, I don’t know if anyone noticed I had been quiet, but I somehow managed to pull the calf muscle in my right leg. Don’t ask me how or when. I don’t know.

All I know is I woke up Friday and I was in agony, and couldn’t walk or put my weight on my right leg. I spent Friday resting it, sat on the couch. Saturday it was still pretty bad so I followed the usual instructions for pulled muscles.

Rest it. Elevate it. Put 15 min cold compresses on it, and, take tylenol for the pain. Thankfully there are some great online instructions. Otherwise I might have to visit the walk-in clinic. And no one wants to do that in the middle of a pandemic, least of all me.

Upshot is, I’m getting around the apartment sat on my office chair, bumping into walls because, you know, five wheels were never meant to be a substitute wheelchair!
