Travel

When I’m not sat in front of a computer working on my various projects, I can be found either reading a book, creating havoc in the kitchen, or wandering the streets of Québec City taking photos.

A few years ago me and mine did the Euro thing and spent a whole month abroad, splitting our time between London, the north of England, and Paris (2 whole weeks of going everywhere whilst also enjoying the tennis at Roland Garros.) We’ve been planning another next trip to somewhere (anywhere) ever since. Placed we’d love to visit include:

  • Japan
  • Istanbul
  • Petra (Jordan)
  • Egypt
  • South Korea

Maybe one day, if COVID ever lets us, we’ll make it to one of the above sooner rather than later.

Along with travel, I’ve also had a long lasting love affair with photography ever since at the tender age of six my father let me hold his beloved camera and take a photo with it. I forget the model, all I remember was it was very heavy and I needed his hands over mine to make sure I didn’t drop the thing. But ever since, I’ve been hooked. That first look through the viewfinder and seeing a whole new world, in a way I’d never experienced before, had me in awe of the world around me. I haven’t looked back since.
