In case of emergency situation the Designated Dome Incident response team (DDI team) is responsible to record GMT and report to OPS Central as soon as possible.
The DDI team bears all responsibility for any actions performed in departure from the DDI team procedures
The DDI CDR is responsible for their team and Dome safety, CDR directs and coordinates all team activities onsite.
Team member in charge of a station segment is responsible for performance of all the segment-related actions.
Double failures, simultaneous leaks in two compartments, are considered very low probability abnormalities and are not described in the DDI procedures
Emergency Ops procedure books are located:
- CDR’s and onsite engineer’s copies — at SM central post
- DDI team copy (with pocket) — in emergency panel beside cardinal entry hatchways
Radiogram Form 14 should be placed daily into cover pocket of Emergency Ops in central Ops.
After audio signal Emergency (high-pitch warble) deactivate hardware being operated, go to central post, determine Emergency on caution and warning panel.
During all outer hatch closures:
- Ensure there are no foreign objects in the hatchway
- If time permits, clean hatch rubber seals
Team actions should provide all possible ingress into safe spaces.
DDI team members are responsible for fire extinguishing in Domes, transiting personnel may be involved.
Fire extinguishing is performed by team (not less than 2 team members).
