I remember my sister when asked, “How are you?” use to answer, “Well, I haven’t murder anyone today.” Which always made everyone laugh (some rather nervously if they didn’t know her and her sense of humour).

Another one was, “I’ll tell you after I’ve had my third coffee.” Which is a little less in the face than her first choice. And something I used when in a grumpy mood. But these days, with the world oing to hell in a handbasket, it’s difficult. I’m more prone to wanting to say, “Well, I haven’t murder anyone today.”

And you, what do you say when asked, “How are you today?”
