I got the most wonderful surprise just now in the mail box. Not just one snail mail post but TWO! I am beside myself, like a little kid who just got to open two Christmas presents early for good behaviour (unheard of, not the early part, the good behaviour part).
First up I want to say a BIG thank you to Scott for his postcard from Sunset Crater Volcano, in Arizona. Which now has pride of place front and centre on the fridge so I can look at it every day and wish.
Second piece of wonderful mail was a beautifully hand written note from the delightful zine goddess herself, Veronique. I cannot tell you how happy I was to get not only snail mail from you, but to read your kind words and feel uplifted on something of a shitty day, today. I so loved the personal touch of the flowers on the front of your card too. So sweet.
Thank you to both of you for making my day happier, and brighter for your simple kindness of connection across the miles.
